Results yet again

AH Consulting is proud to announce achievement of results with various clients as follows:

                                I.        AHC has completed an assessment of the reasons for the high cost of air freight for flowers from Uganda to destinations in Europe and identification of various options that Uganda can consider to boost exports. The study was commissioned by the Private Sector Foundation of Uganda

II.        AHC has completed the development of a 10 year strategic plan for the Rwanda Office of Tourism and Conservation (ORTPN). ORTPN is the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) agency responsible for the world famous “Kwita Izina”, and for the overall coordination and promotion of the booming tourism industry in Rwanda.

III.        AHC has completed monitoring and evaluation indicator assessment for the EU funded Human Rights Good Governance Project in Uganda.

IV.        AHC has delivered results to the Ministry of Finance Planning and Economic Development (MOFPED) in Uganda by developing the modalities for the operationalisation of the MTEF segment in the Government of Uganda (GOU) chart of Accounts (COA) using the Vote-Function approach. No wonder AHC is now supporting MOFPED in the revision of the budgeting modalities and the budget manual under the Fiscal Decentralization strategy (FDS) modality.

                              V.        AHC is preparing results for the Ministry of Local Government (MOLG) by developing the training guidelines for the local Government Financial and Accounting Manual (LGFAM) that was enacted in 2007.

VI.        AHC has completed a study to improve the performance of the Management Training and Advisory Center (MTAC). Initially established as a project of UNDP in 1969, MTAC is re-evaluating its mandate and how best to deliver its objectives.

VII.        AHC has completed an audit and investigation assignment for an international NGO in Chad. Speaking after completion of the assignment, the CEO of AH consulting indicated that despite being a French speaking country, AHC’s consultants under-promised and over-delivered to the client.
