Herbert is the Managing Director of AH Consulting. He has over 15 years experience in consultancy work across the African continent.

Herbert started his career with Ernst and Young as a Junior Auditor working his way up the ranks and eventually to become an Audit and Advisory Manager. During this period he worked with major corporations in the East and Central African region both within the private and public sectors.

In search of greater challenges, Herbert moved to work with the Ministry of Finance Planning and Economic Development under the Integrated Financial Management System project of the World Bank. He was actively involved in the Public Financial Management sector reforms under the project and oversaw the delivery of the pilot phase of the IFMIS project after which he left to become the Managing Director of AH Consulting. Since then, Herbert has been at the forefront in delivering results for clients across the continent, in Kenya, Ethiopia, Gambia, Lesotho, Tanzania, Malawi, South Africa, Madagascar, Mauritius, Seychelles, Somalia, Mozmbique, Rwanda, Burundi, Ghana, UAE, Djibouti, Zambia, West Bank in Gaza, UK, India, USA and Sudan on consulting and information systems projects for Governments, private sector, NGO's and international development agencies.

Herbert is responsible for the overall strategic direction and delivery of the AH Consulting vision.
